Welcome to St Therese Community Preschool!
We are a non-profit community school, run by dedicated loving and professional staff with the help of the parents and other members of the community.
St Therese is a community preschool servicing the Dover Heights, Bondi, Rose Bay and Vaucluse areas in Sydney Australia.
On Friday, 31st October we had our fun, spooky Halloween Disco and Art Exhibition, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The little ones dressed up as ghosts, ninjas, princesses, and there were some bugs too! We had Disco entertainment provided by ‘DancePants’ who had the children dancing and laughing most of the night (a fair few parents joined in too!). We also had a sausage sizzle (all cooking was done by our wonderful families) which provided everyone with a light dinner and soft drink.
The Art Exhibition was a huge success with the young artists at St Therese Preschool using technology as tools for designing, drawing, editing, reflecting and composing.
They individually explored and experimented with the paint program and learnt through play the capabilities they have to express their imagination and create a picture to their own liking. Every picture was unique with the variety of spray paint, paintbrush, pencil and adjustments to colours being incorporated. Each child displayed motivation, enthusiasm and concentration throughout this experience, as they enhanced their fine motor skills.
What a wonderful evening enjoyed with our families!
2014 Welcome Message from the President
A warm welcome to all the new and returning families of St Therese Community Preschool! I am very excited about the 2014 year and would like to take a minute to thank all of the people who continue to make this school such a special place for our children.
First, we are so fortunate to have three dedicated, kind and nurturing teachers who work tirelessly to create an educational program designed to prepare the children, in a fun and creative way, for their future transition to kindergarten. They put in an enormous amount of effort outside of hours to ensure we meet all professional standards, while making certain the continued progress of our children is well-documented. Second, we are grateful for our incredible Administrator. She is not only dedicated to caring for the families of the preschool, but without her our school would not run as smoothly as it does. Third, we are thankful for the parents who have volunteered to form the management committee this year. They graciously offer their time and commitment to moving the school forward in a direction that best serves all the families of St Therese and the broader community. Fourth, and most importantly, we thank the families of St Therese. You and your participation form the basis for which St Therese continues to be a school where the children feel encouraged and safe.
As a non-profit community school, we continue to excel through the contributions from the families. We encourage you to participate in any way you can, either with day-to-day activities or during our annual events. These events serve as more then just a way for the school to meet our financial needs, but as a way for the families to continue to build the warm and welcoming social environment for which St Therese prides itself.
There is no one way to run a preschool, and it is important to all of us that St Therese fulfils the needs of its families and community. We welcome any ideas you may have. Should you have any ideas, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak directly to me or one of our teachers.

We are now accepting enrolment applications for 2015. Please contact Rizqaa via email on email@example.com or by telephone on 9371 8843. We hold our preschool tours on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am, so please feel free to make an appointment to come see our facilities and meet with the educators.
